Full color, movement, excitement, and inspiration! Each piece of art is prayed over and is a whisper of God, in hopes of conveying just a minute part of Him!
Though mostly self taught, there have been brief learning stints under popular contemporary artists. After beginning with realistic pieces, Sue's painting style currently has an abstract and spiritual feel. More recently, she has joined the staff of NewDay Church as Director of the NewDay School of Supernatural Ministry and is also involved in their Healing Rooms. A dream is to blend healing and the arts with the light and power of Jesus and see people freed of both physical disease and spiritual bondage. Sue also speaks on prophetic art and painting during worship.
In the late 1990's, Sue combined her love for the Lord, the desire to paint, and graphic design skills and started creating one-of-a-kind banners for churches across the U.S. and internationally. (Additional charges apply for shipping internationally.) Banners up to 6' can be printed on a cotton or satin. Banners between 6' and 10' are printed on celtic cloth. Individual panels can be any height and up to ten feet wide. For a wider area, the banners can be sewn together or hung as panels. Banners can be custom created exclusively for a particular client and space, or can be ordered from prior designs on the web site. Fire-retardant fabrics are available for an upcharge.
After the banners are complete, pole pockets are placed at the top and the bottom for hanging. Wood or metal poles can be ordered for an additional charge, though shipping of poles in general runs quite high. (Poles can easily be purchased at any hardware store.) A custom banner series typically takes eight weeks from start to finish. A deposit of 50% down is requested when placing the banner order. A rough sketch indicating design and color will be provided. Email for pricing for your custom project. Please include sizes and how many panels in the banner series.
Giclées (high-quality prints) are available of any banner or painting.
Sue Kemnitz resides with her wonderful hubby of over 30 years, Randy, in Elko New Market, a southern suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul. She has been painting for over 25 years, often at their cabin in northern Wisconsin.
